Nevada leads the nation in the percentage growth of its 65-and-older population and is projected to lead the nation through 2030. Quantitative market analysis shows exceptionally strong demand for active-adult housing and reasonably strong demand for independent congregate living in the northern Nevada primary market area.
CHA has been in discussions with several development organizations to build a Senior Living Community that would include, as part of the community an Aging Research, Education, and Clinical Services facility. This program will provide quality living for our elders and by embedding an aging research facility, we can be involved and in-touch with our elders to know and understand the programs they need and want—and then develop those programs to continue to add life to years.
